Updating your product feed after upgrading to Awin

Prev Next

As part of your upgrade to Awin, we’ve automatically configured your key product feed information in the Awin platform, making your products immediately available to partners without requiring any setup from your side.

To ensure your feed continues to function correctly post-upgrade, we temporarily pulled your feed directly from your ShareASale account and translated it into the Awin feed format.

Important

To ensure long-term performance and continued availability to your partners, you’ll need to update your product feed setup after your upgrade.

How to update your product feed

Below, you’ll find guidance to make this as easy as possible.

  • If you’re using Shopify, WooCommerce, or Shoplazza, we recommend switching to the Awin plugin for your respective platform. These plugins are optimized for better performance, easier feed management, and ongoing technical support. You can find plugin-specific setup guidance in our upgrade guide.

  • For all other advertisers, you’ll need to host your product feed in a location that Awin can retrieve. We accept feeds via HTTP(S), FTP, or SFTP. Full details on formatting, feed quality enhancements, and hosting setup can be found here.

If you plan to upload your product feed using the Google format, you can do so via our API. Learn how to provide this option to your partners.

After the update

Once your new feed is set up, we recommend informing your partners - especially if you’ve made any enhancements. Your existing deep links will remain functional, so no changes are required there. Be sure to remove your old feed from the Awin platform after updating to avoid confusion and keep your setup clean and current.

If you manage commission rates directly through your feed, Awin replicated this using commission groups tied to SKU conditions. Each group supports up to 250 SKUs - if your catalog is larger, multiple groups will be created automatically to accommodate this.

Upgrading to Awin provides you with improved feed management tools, ongoing plugin support, and a streamlined experience for both you and your affiliate partners.
