This article explains what Bonus Manager is, when and how to use it, and how it supports flexible commissioning strategies.
The Bonus Manager tool lets you automatically reward partners based on their performance within the current calendar month. It helps you motivate partners, increase engagement, and drive incremental sales without manual work.
What the Bonus Manager does
Bonus Manager applies the rules you create and rewards partners automatically when they meet your performance thresholds. These thresholds can be based on:
Number of approved sales.
Value of approved sales.
Value of approved commission generated.
Bonuses appear directly in the Transactions report, helping you manage incentives efficiently.
When to use Bonus Manager
Use Bonus Manager when you want to:
Incentivize partners during a specific month.
Boost activity during seasonal or high‑traffic periods.
Encourage mid‑ and long‑tail partners to increase performance.
Add short‑term bonus incentives on top of your standard commissions.

How to create a Bonus Manager rule
To set up a new bonus rule navigate to Commission > Rules > Bonus Manager.
Click Add bonus.
Choose your criteria from a dropdown menu:
Value of approved sales
Number of approved sales
Value of approved commission generated
Set your target: In the Target field, enter the minimum performance required before the bonus is triggered.
For example:
500 approved sales
£5,000 in approved sales value
£1,000 in approved commission
Set the bonus amount.
Choose whether the bonus is recurring: Check the Recurring box if you want the same bonus to apply each month.
Save the rule.
Important
Bonuses are paid based on validation date, not transaction date. If you create multiple tiers, bonuses are cumulative and partners can earn each tier once they hit the required threshold.
Editing or deleting an existing bonus payment rule
You can edit or delete an existing rule at any time.
In the platform navigate to Commission > Rules > Bonus Manager.
In the list of bonus rules locate the rule you want to modify or delete.
To edit, click the pencil icon or the delete icon (X).
To confirm your selection click Save.
