Managing your email preferences with Awin helps make sure you only get updates and information that matter to you. Whether you want to cut down on unwanted emails or stay informed about the things that count, here’s what you need to know.

Understanding email types on Awin

Awin sends two main types of emails:

  • Service emails: These are essential communications sent through our platform. They include critical updates like system maintenance, policy changes, or account notifications.

  • Marketing and informational emails: These emails provide insights, tips and news from Awin, and you have control over whether to receive them.

Service emails 

Emails sent from Awin platform are service emails that you can’t unsubscribe from. They are considered necessary for the proper management of your affiliate programs.

Why can’t you unsubscribe

As an advertiser, you manage campaigns that depend on real-time updates from the platform. Awin has a legitimate interest in making sure you receive important communications that may affect your account’s performance or compliance, including:

  • Affiliate program alerts

  • Security or technical notices

  • Changes to policies or terms of use

  • Important platform feature updates

Marketing emails

If you no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional emails from Awin:

  1. Open a recent marketing email from Awin.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click the Unsubscribe link.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to manage your preferences.

Alternatively, you may be taken to an email preference center, where you can choose to opt out of specific types of emails rather than all communications.

Other communication

You can choose to receive automated email notifications about:

  • Commission rate changes on your program

  • Publishers joining your program

You can opt in or out of these notifications by going to Account > Settings > Contact Details on the platform.
