This guide explains the different ways you can discover and recruit new partners for your program. It covers search tools within the Awin platform, how to review incoming applications, and how to identify new opportunities that best fit your brand.

A varied mix of partner types helps your program reach its full potential. The tools below can help you find partners that match your goals and align with your brand.

Publisher Approvals

The Publisher Approvals area is located at Publishers > Manage > Publisher Approvals.

Here, you’ll find a list of partners who have applied to join your program. This section allows you to:

  • View pending applications

  • Review partner profiles

  • Check performance indicators

  • Assess who they already work with

  • Confirm that their promotional space suits your program

Since these partners have already expressed interest in your brand, they’re often highly engaged and ready to collaborate.

Partner Discovery

To access the Partner Discovery tool, go to Publishers > Search > Partner Discovery.

You can:

  • Search by partner name or product category.

  • Browse partners with complete profiles or select Include publishers with incomplete profiles to expand your search.

  • Use filters to narrow your results and find partners suited to your brand.

Each profile includes key details to help you assess relevance, including promotional methods, audience type, and available partner spaces.

Opportunity Marketplace

You can find the Opportunity Marketplace by navigating to Publishers > Opportunity Marketplace.

Use the filters to refine your search by:

  • Payment model

  • Publisher type

  • Opportunity type

  • Industry sector

  • Region

You can also search for a specific partner. Selecting an opportunity opens the partner’s profile, where you can view details such as promotional spaces and contact information. You can email partners directly from their profile if you need more information.

Publisher Gap Analysis report

If you want to grow your program more strategically, a Publisher Gap Analysis is one of the simplest ways to uncover high-value partners you may be missing. It highlights the partners you’re not currently working with, giving you clear insight into where your biggest growth opportunities lie.

Any advertiser can request a Gap Analysis at any time. In most service packages, this analysis is already included. If you’re using a self-service package, you can purchase it for a small fee.  

The service provides a curated list of relevant, high-quality partners tailored to your program, helping you take confident next steps toward expansion. Partner recommendations

Awin’s recommendation engine automatically suggests up to 25 relevant partners per day. You can find these suggestions in the Recommendations tab in Partner Discovery.

These recommendations are based on an algorithm designed to match your brand with the most suitable partners on the network, helping you build a healthy and effective mix.

SimilarSites

SimilarSites.com is a helpful external tool for discovering new, relevant websites.

Simply search for any UK website - such as one of your top performing partners - to see a list of similar sites.

You can then:

  • Check whether these sites are already Awin partners.

  • Identify whether they’re promoting brands via on-site links.

  • Contact them if they represent a new opportunity for your program.
