Voucher codes are short codes that give customers a discount at checkout. They are a simple way to encourage purchases and keep customers from purchasing elsewhere. When used well, they help you strengthen partner relationships, improve conversion rate and your program’s performance.

Why use voucher codes

Voucher codes can help you:

  • Attract new customers

  • Encourage partners to join your program

  • Drive more sales from niche or high-performing partners

  • Strengthen brand awareness

  • Build stronger relationships with key partners

  • Increase conversion rates, especially during campaigns

Used well, voucher codes reward customers, motivate partners and support wider performance goals.

  • Percentage discounts.

  • Spend and save offers, for example: Spend £100 and save £5.

  • Full price, sale or free delivery.

  • New customer targeting, for example: 10% off for all new customers.

  • Existing customer targeting, for example: 5% off for returning customers.

Tracking voucher code performance

You can track voucher code usage in the Transactions report.

Use the voucher_code column to see if a code was used for each transaction. This helps you understand which partners promoted the code, how often it was used, and the revenue generated.

Important

Tracking voucher code usage helps you identify and resolve any code leakage.

FAQ

Can all partners use every voucher code?

No. Only generic codes are available for partners. Exclusive codes are assigned to one specific partner and are only visible to them.

Where do partners find the voucher codes I add?

Partners can find all details of upcoming and active vouchers and promotions within the My Offers section under the Toolbox. Only exclusive offers will appear for the partner they are assigned to.

Can voucher codes help improve conversion rates?

Yes. Voucher code campaigns often convert well, especially when paired with high-performing or niche partners.

Can I check the performance of my voucher codes?

Yes. You can track the voucher code performance through the Transactions report. The voucher_code column shows which transactions came from each code and the associated partner.

Why should I track my voucher codes?

Tracking voucher codes helps you monitor:

  • Which partners are sharing your voucher codes.

  • How many times each code has been used.

  • How much revenue each voucher code has generated.

  • Whether any partners are using codes without permission, helping you identify potential code leakage.
