# Validating commission payments in the new Awin platform

In the new Awin platform you can review, approve, or decline commission payments in one central place. The page provides clear, up-to-date transaction data so you can validate commissions quickly and accurately.

## How to access

1. Go to the new Awin platform.
2. Navigate to **Commissions > Review commission payments**.

> [!NOTE]
> Note
>
> This page currently covers only a part of the validation process. Other validation tools are still available in Awin Classic and will be moved over time.
>
> To access these tools, click **More actions** in the top-right corner.

## Review commission payments

On this page you can access all your commission payments, both pending and validated - just toggle between the tabs:

- **Review pending** - Here you can see all pending commission payments that need validation before they can be processed and paid out to your partners.
- **View all** - Here you can view your validated commissions.

### Review pending commission payments

Use the **Review pending** tab to check your pending commission payments and take action.

For each pending commission you can see a variety of data points. The default view consists of:

- Commission ID: This is a unique way to identify each commission payment. It’s assigned when the commission payment is tracked or generated (previously called Transaction ID).
- Order reference
- Order date
- Partner who earned it
- Coupon code (if used)
- Order value
- Commission amount

You can customize this view to see more information, for example custom parameters, conversion time or campaign.

To adjust which columns are displayed:

1. Click **Edit table**.
2. Click the values you want to remove to deselect them.
3. Select the values you want to show.
4. Click **Apply**.
5. To go back to the previous view, click**Reset to default**.

> [!NOTE]
> Note
>
> You can only select up to 6 columns at a time.
>
> You can’t deselect the Commission ID.

### Enriched commission view

Click on the Commission ID to open the enriched commission view, where you can see more details, and approve or decline the commission payment.

This view includes:

- Transaction details (order date, event type, partner)
- Commission payment breakdown (status, order value, commission, fees)
- Payment progress (created → reviewed → invoiced → paid)
- Click-to-conversion time, and more.

This allows you to review all the details and validate commission payment on a single screen, saving you time.

### Validating individual commissions

To approve or decline commissions one by one:

1. Make sure the **Multi-select** toggle is switched off.
2. Locate the commission payment you want to validate.
3. Click the **✔** (approve) or **X** (decline) at the end of the row.
4. Confirm your choice in the pop-up:
  - For approved commission, click **Approve commission** to proceed.
  - For declined commission, select a reason from the drop-down (e.g., order returned), then click **Decline commission** to proceed.
5. The commission will be removed from the pending list.

> [!WARNING]
> Important
>
> Once validated, the action cannot be undone. Double-check before confirming.

### Validating multiple commissions

To approve or decline several commissions at once:

1. Make sure the **Multi-select**toggle is switched on.
2. Tick the box at the end of each row you want to include.

> [!WARNING]
> Important
>
> When declining multiple commissions, group them by the same reason. Providing accurate decline reasons supports strong partner relationships and reduces follow-up queries.
3. At the bottom of the table, you can:
  - See how many rows you’ve selected.
  - Clear your selection.
  - Click **Approve** or **Decline**.
4. Confirm your choice in the pop-up:
  - For approved commissions, click **Approve commissions**.
  - For declined commissions, select a reason that applies to all selected commissions, then click **Decline commissions**.
5. The commissions will be removed from the pending list.

> [!WARNING]
> Important
>
> Once validated, the action cannot be undone. Double-check before confirming.

## Adjust your view

You can customize how commission payments are displayed using filters, sorting, and row settings.

### Filtering

- **Event:** Choose the commission payment type (e.g., order or lead).
- **Partner:** Show payments for a specific partner.
- **Status:** Available on the **View all** tab. You can choose to see pending, approved, declined or invoiced commission payments.
- **Search bar:** Search for a specific commission by various search parameters (e.g., order reference or coupon code).
- **Start date - end date:** Use the calendar to set the date range.

### Sorting

Click any column heading to sort by that field. For example, click **Commission** to sort by the commission amount. The results will be sorted descending first; click again for ascending.

### Rows per page

Use the drop-down in the bottom-left corner to choose how many rows to display on one page. You can choose between 25 and 500 rows.
