## What is the Publisher Comparison report

The Publisher Comparison report offers an opportunity to understand the performance of either all of your partners, a single partner, or multiple partners through the use of [publisher tags](/advertisers/docs/publisher-tags).

Unlike the [Publisher Performance report](/advertisers/docs/publisher-performance-report-for-awin-access-users) which reports on all partners, the comparison report shows direct comparisons between different partners’ performances and helps you:

- Identify your top and bottom performers.
- Analyze performance of seasonal campaigns or promotions.
- Identify areas for improvement.

## Filtering the report

You can use the below filters to narrow down the data:

- **A From** and **A To** - Select the first time period you want the report to compare.
- **B From** and **B To** - Select the second time period you want the report to compare.
- **Based On** - Choose to base the report on the date of the original transaction or the date the transaction was validated.
- **Publisher** - You can select up to 25 partners to compare.

When ready, click **Generate Report** to see your results.

## Understanding the report

The report includes the following data:

- **Clicks:** Number of clicks generated in the time period selected.
- **Total Quantity:**Total in sales generated in the time period selected.
- **Total Value:** Total in revenue generated in the time period selected.
- **% Change:**Change, by percentage, within the time periods selected from A to B.
- **Grand Totals:** Total number of clicks, sales, and revenue within the chosen period from A to B. Followed by the change in percentage. This percentage figure is useful when you have run a seasonal campaign or promotion and want to understand how this has impacted your performance.
