Plan availability
This Product Performance report is available only for Awin Accelerate and Advanced customers.
Overview
The Product Performance report gives you detailed insight into the individual products sold through your program. It shows product level data for a selected date range, helping you identify which items are driving performance.
For advertisers, this report offers a clear view of the product ranges that partners are successfully promoting. It also provides a breakdown of total product sales, including how many are pending, approved, or declined. This insight is particularly valuable when assessing the impact of a new product launch or a promotion centered around specific items.
Why commission amounts differ from other Awin reports
Commission totals in the Product Performance report may differ from the totals shown in the Transactions report or the Publisher Performance report. This is due to how product-level tracking records individual product rows.
If your tracking tag is not set up to capture all product rows on the confirmation page, some items from the customer’s basket may not be recorded at product level. When this happens, the Product Performance report won’t include those items, causing the commission totals to differ from other reports. To ensure accuracy, make sure your product-level tracking setup tracks every product row.
FAQ
Why is my Product Performance report empty?
You won’t be able to see any results in the Product Performance report if you don’t have product-level tracking (PLT) set up as part of your tracking set-up.
Having PLT implemented will enable this report to pull in product data on a more granular level which may be a benefit to you, if you want to see the results of a new product launch or a promotion on a specific product that you are asking partners to push.
If you want to implement PLT follow our guide or contact us. If you have a dedicated Awin contact, please reach out to them. If not, you can get in touch with our support team by filling out the contact form.
Why does the Product Performance report show 0 commission for my program?
If your program uses Commission Flexibility, you may notice that the Product Performance report displays 0 commission values. This is expected behavior at the moment. Due to a current technical limitation, the report can’t process or display commission data for programs using Commission Flexibility.
Our product team is aware of this and is actively working on a solution. In the meantime, rest assured that your commission data is being tracked correctly elsewhere in the platform, and this doesn’t impact your actual commission payments. We appreciate your patience while we work to improve this experience.
