# Compliance partner checks

This article covers what measures Awin have in place to ensure your brand is protected when working with our partner base.

## How does Awin safeguard my brand?

At Awin, we take brand protection seriously. We have a range of measures in place to ensure that partners in our network meet high standards before they can promote your brand.

## Partner review process

Before joining the Awin network, all partners go through a series of manual and automated checks:

- Identity verification - Partners pay a small deposit (refunded with their first commission payment) to help confirm their identity.
- Content review - Our Compliance Team manually checks the partner’s proposed websites to ensure they meet our content standards.

## Control and monitoring

Once approved, you have full control over who promotes your brand:

- Manually approve partners for your affiliate campaigns.
- Set custom conditions for participation.
- All partners must agree to both the standard network contract and an additional publisher agreement.

We also use a combination of in-house tools and third-party monitoring systems to track partner performance and ensure ongoing compliance.
