# Add and remove users

You can manage access to your program through the Awin platform. You can easily give access to your colleagues or remove it as required.

## Adding a new user

To add a new user to your Awin account:

1. In the platform navigate to **Account > Users > Invite User**.
2. Select the user’s permission type and choose their preferred language.
3. Click the **Invite** button to send the invitation.
4. The user will receive an email with a sign-up link to access the account.

> Only account owners can update the account owner. Contact support if the account owner is no longer able to reassign program ownership.

## Removing a user

To remove a user from your Awin account:

1. In the platform navigate to **Account > Users > Account Permission**. You will see all the users that have a login for your affiliate program and what permission type they have been allocated.
2. Click on **Edit permissions**.
3. Remove the users by clicking **x**.
4. Click **Update** at the bottom to confirm the changes.
