# Getting access to Awin MCP

## How to connect

You can connect Awin to your AI assistant in a few minutes.

1. Every assistant uses the same address: `https://mcp.awin.com`.
2. After you add it, the assistant opens the Awin sign-in page.
3. Sign in with your Awin account.
4. Your password stays with Awin, and you never paste a token or a secret into the assistant.

## Choose your assistant

## After you connect

You can ask about your accounts, performance, programs and help articles in the same chat. You don’t need to sign in again for each question.

To stop access, remove the connector in that assistant. Other assistants you have connected won’t be affected.

## Connect Claude

1. Add Awin to Claude as a custom connector, using the address `https://mcp.awin.com`. This works in claude.ai and in the Claude Desktop app.
2. Leave the optional **OAuth Client ID** and **OAuth Client Secret** fields empty. You never need to paste a token or a secret.

Follow the below steps based on your Claude plan.

### Claude Pro and Max

1. In Claude, open **Customize > Connectors**.
2. Click **+**, then **Add custom connector**.
3. Name it *Awin* and set the remote MCP server URL to `https://mcp.awin.com`.
4. Click **Add**.
5. Click **Connect**. The browser will open the Awin sign-in page.
6. Sign in with your Awin account. If asked, approve access.

### Claude Team and Enterprise

An organization Owner needs to add the connector once, then each person connects with their own Awin login.

Owner:

1. Open **Organization settings > Connectors**.
2. Click **Add**, then **Custom > Web**.
3. Set the URL to `https://mcp.awin.com` and click **Add**.

Each person:

1. Open **Customize > Connectors**, find Awin and click **Connect**.
2. Sign in with your own Awin account. If asked, approve access.

Each person can only see the Awin accounts on their own login, even though the connector is shared across the organization.

### Use it in a chat

If Awin is not already on for a conversation, click **+** in the message box, then **Connectors**, and turn on Awin.

Try: *Which of my Awin accounts can you see?*

### Disconnect

Open **Customize > Connectors**, select Awin and choose **Disconnect** or **Remove**. This removes Claude’s access to Awin; other assistants you have connected won’t be affected.

## Connect ChatGPT

Add Awin to ChatGPT as a custom app, using the address `https://mcp.awin.com`. You have to set it up once at chatgpt.com, and after that it will also work in the ChatGPT desktop app.

You need a paid ChatGPT plan to use MCP.

### Set up

1. Open chatgpt.com and go to **Settings > Apps > Advanced settings**.
2. Turn **Developer mode** on.
3. Click **Create app**.
4. Name it *Awin* and set the MCP server URL to `https://mcp.awin.com`.
5. Leave authentication set to **OAuth**. Don’t enter a client ID, secret or token.
6. When asked to sign in, use your Awin account credentials. If asked, approve access.

On a Business, Enterprise or Education workspace, an admin may need to allow custom connectors before the **Developer mode** toggle appears.

### Use it in a chat

1. Start a new chat.
2. Open the **+** menu, choose **Developer mode** and select Awin.

Try: *Which of my Awin accounts can you see?*

### Disconnect

Go to **Settings > Apps**, select Awin and remove it. This removes ChatGPT’s access to Awin; other assistants you have connected won’t be affected.
