Overview

The Sector Benchmarking report empowers you with insightful data to gauge your program’s performance in comparison to the overall sector performance within your region. You can use this data to evaluate the contributions of different partner types to your program, conduct competitive analysis against your peers, optimize your partner portfolio, and make informed decisions based on market comparison.

Please note that the insights provided in the Sector Benchmarking report are based on harmonized, or indexed, data. Consequently, the report focuses on relative comparisons rather than specific values to help you track the development of your program against your chosen sector.

Review the program performance

To review your program’s performance using the Sector Benchmarking report, follow these steps:

  1. Access the report: navigate to Reports > Insights > Sector Benchmarking. The report will load automatically. By default, your program’s sector and region will be pre-selected, and you can immediately view your program’s performance for the past 12 months using the timeline view.

  2. Select a metric: You can analyze your program’s performance using various metrics. Click on the Metric dropdown menu and choose an option:

    • Transactions (default)

    • Clicks

    • Revenue

    • Average Order Value (AOV)

  3. Adjust the date range: To explore performance on a different time scale, use the Date Range dropdown menu to select an option:

    • Last 3 months (default)

    • Last quarter

    • Year to date

    • Last 12 months

Compare the partner portfolio

The bar chart located at the bottom of the report displays the distribution of different partner types. It enables you to identify potential performance issues within your partner portfolio and compare it to the sector as a whole. For example, you can see if your program has a higher or lower percentage of content partners driving clicks compared to the overall sector.

Analyze the sectors in different geographic regions

You have the capability to compare the market performance between your chosen region and another region of interest. Use the Region filter to select a different region for the report.
