What is the Performance Over Time report

The Performance Over Time report details your performance over a set time period. The information and graph generated are useful for identifying long-term trends in performance as well as assessing the results of any short-term trials and promotions that have been run.

The report can be manipulated in many ways, which includes showing information for a particular partner (as opposed to all partners on the program).

Accessing and filtering the report

To access the Performance Over Time report in the platform, navigate to Reports > Legacy > Performance Over Time.

As default the report shows today’s data but you can adjust it using the filters on the right-hand side and choose the below:

  • Period - Desired date range from predefined options, e.g. Last Week or Year to Date.

  • From and To - Custom start and end dates for the report.

  • Graph Showing - Metric to be visualized by the chart, e.g. clicks or commission.

  • Group Results - How the data should be grouped, e.g. monthly.

  • Publisher - Specific partners you want to see in the report.

  • Based On - Transaction Date and Validation Date.

  • Transaction Type - Which transactions you want to see in the report based on their type, e.g. Lead or Sale.

  • Publisher Tags - Specific tags you want to see in the report.

When ready, click Generate Report to see your results.

Understanding the results table

The table shows the below metrics:

  • Impressions - Specifies the number of impressions that have been generated on that specific date or in the date range.

  • Clicks - Specifies the number of clicks that have been referred to your site on a given date or in the date range.

  • AOV - Specifies the average order value on a given date or in the date range.

  • No. Sales - Specifies the number of transactions that have been driven by partners to the advertiser site.

  • Amount - Specifies the sales value of transactions driven.

  • Commission - Specifies the amount of commission accrued as a result of the sales driven.
